Software is a program that enables the computer to perform a specific task.
Software is classified into system software and application software.
System software are software that manage other programs in the computer system and facilitates the optimal use of the hardware.
System software are classified into four, which are: Operating system, Language translators, Utility programs (tools), and Device drivers.
Operating system usually referred to as OS is a type of system software that controls, coordinates and correlates all the activities of the computer system.
Language translators are software that convert programs written in English-form (source code) to computer readable form (object code that computer understands).
