Structure of a BASIC program
BASIC is a family of high-level programming language. A BASIC program is composed of a sequence of statement. Each instruction in a BASIC program is written as a separate statement, which will be executed in the order in which it appears. Each statement in BASIC must begin with a positive integer quantity called a Line Number.
