Summary of The Internet

Internet is a system of global computer networks that provide variety of information and communication facilities, consisting of interconnected networks and as well allow users to send and receive information from other computers (devices).

A computer network can be defined as an interconnection of two or more computers for information exchange around the world.

A web site is a collection of related Web pages and associated items, such as documents and pictures, stored on a Web server.

This is an application package that allows the internet users to browse or surf the internet.

TCP/IP is a communication language only computers on a computer network or the internet can understand.

A hyperlink or link is a built-in connection that establishes a relationship between one Web page and another.

A Search Engine is a program that finds Web sites and Web pages.
