INTRODUCTION
The world has come a long way from the era when people had to travel long distances or pay a lot of money just to communicate with or see their family, friends or associates. In recent times, people do not have to go or look too far to acquire knowledge and information, or sell their goods and services. These and other seemingly easy ways of living today are brought about by the internet.
DEFINITION OF TERMS
Internet
Internet is an acronym for International Networks. Internet is a collection of networks connecting millions of computers all over the world for the purpose of information exchange. The internet makes it easy for users all over the world to be able to communicate together using the computer machine (computing device) via mails and other social media platforms. This is because all the computers (computing devices) in the network can see and talk to one another. That is why the internet is referred to as the information superhighway, where information travels 24/7 virtually uninterrupted.
