Primacy Computer Studies for Senior Secondary Schools is a comprehensive textbook for students in the Senior Secondary Schools. This work is a product of our consistent interaction with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) users and the trainings and tutorials given to learners for several years.

This book has been written in accordance with the latest re-structured Senior Secondary Schools Curriculum developed by the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) and approved for use by the Federal Ministry of Education, Nigeria.

The aim of this book is to bridge the gap created by the poor teaching of computer studies in schools. In writing this series, attention is paid to the basic theoretical and practical elements of modern computing. We endeavor to make the contents represent the total experiences to which learners at this level must be exposed to.

The language has been simplified to enable readers grasp the concepts discussed. Again, the series come with appropriate photographs and colourful illustrations to make learning more interesting. Each chapter ends with summary and evaluation to ascertain the reader’s level of comprehension.
