The Kinetic Theory
The kinetic theory of matter assumes that matter is made up of tiny particles such as atoms, molecules and ions that are constantly moving and therefore possess kinetic energy.
The kinetic theory of matter is also known as the moving molecule theory. It is used to explain scientific facts about properties of solids, liquids and gases as well as their interactions.
