Siting a farm is an interesting and important activity. Since the introduction of agriculture in Nigerian schools, school farms have been established to enable students acquire practical experiences to balance up with the classroom instructions which they receive in agriculture. The school farm is, therefore, often referred to as a school farm laboratory.
Importance of a School Farm

- To generate students’ interest in agriculture as a profession or subject.
- To enable students, acquire knowledge and skills in agriculture.
