MEANING OF CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY
A co-operative society is an organization formed by a group of individuals who have decided to work as a team to satisfy a common interest, like setting up a farm, a shop or some other business.
Agricultural co-operative is a business organization in which a group of individuals who have common interest agreed to pool their resources together for production or to distribute goods and services for the purpose of making profit and maintaining the welfare of members.
Co-operative society is owned and controlled by minimum of two members and unlimited maximum members.
