Buildings are a type of structure erected with wood, bricks or blocks on floors for accommodation purposes. Buildings shelters man from harsh weathers and provides comfort and security. In the olden days, people lived in huts built with mud and covered with leaves, but today the story is different as a result of the major role technology is playing.
Definition of Building
A building is a structure which is designed by the architects or draughtsman and built for the purpose of providing shelter for human beings, livestock or useful items.
Building materials are the materials used to construct buildings and other structures. A building can also be defined as a shelter with walls and a roof where we can live, play, worship, transact business and produce goods and services.
