Molecular Structure of Solids, Liquids and Gases
Every substance in the world is either a solid, a liquid or a gas. Some substance can exist in all the three states. Note: A solid has a definite size and shape; a liquid has a definite size but not shape; and a gas or vapour has no definite size and shape. You must have come across the changes of the states of matter (melting, freezing, evaporation, condensation, sublimation and deposition) which we discussed extensively in our book 1. Let’s now consider the three states of matter <div class="sign-up-notice-after-excerpt-two" style="background-color:powderblue;"> You are viewing an excerpt of this lesson.
