<p class="has-luminous-vivid-amber-background-color has-background"><strong>INTRODUCTION</strong></p> <p><em><strong>Plastics and rubber</strong></em> materials are both made from the same families of <strong>polymers</strong>. The polymers are mixed with a complex blend of materials known as <strong>additives</strong>.</p> <p>Rubbers are <strong>elastomers</strong>, these are polymers with an elastic property. This elasticity differentiates rubbers from plastics.
